What’s the difference between Hi-Co & Lo-Co?
HiCo stands for High Coercivity (2750OE) and LoCo for Low Coercivity
(300OE), the difference being the density of the magnetic particles in
the stripe. Generally, it is more difficult to accidentally erase HICO
magnetic stripes, but card readers have to be adapted to read HICO.
