What is thermal printing?
Thermal printing is a printing process that uses heat to transfer an
ink coating onto the card. The ribbon colours melt and are transferred
to the card in a series of dots which create the desired image on the
card. Character size and font selection are variable. Various colours
are available for the printed characters.
