 CCS Ireland Ltd supply a range of secure cards and Datacard personalisation equipment to numerous Irish Government Departments. This Datacard equipment is used to personalise a range of secure ID cards and documents, these include the new secure Irish Passport and the secure GNIB ID card. CCS supply Datacard Desktop printers to the GNIB and to the Irish Prison Service for the in-house production of these high secure ID cards.
CCS supply a comprehensive range of custom designed holographic overlays which are automatically applied to the face of the secure ID cards. CCS can assist you in the design of the overlay to incorporate many covert and overt features into the manufacture of these overlays.
CCS also provide a range of bespoke software for the production of smartcards. A complete end to end solution was developed for the new Irish Taxi Regulator Photo ID card. This is a secure Mifare card which can be remotely read by there inspectors using a hand held unit from anywhere in the country. The hand held device can communicate via GPS to the Taxi Regulator's database to check the validity of the card.
