ARTWORK SPECIFICATION SHEET - FORMAT All Artwork must be supplied in an Apple Macintosh format or an eps format that can be read by an Apple Macintosh Computer. Digital Artwork may be transferred by any of the following means; ISDN, CD, Zip Disc or E-Mail. Acceptable applications for digitally supplied Artwork;
Please ensure that all links to Artwork files are checked and if any modification has taken place since the graphics were created, the relevant items are updated before issuing Artwork. All graphics/Pantone references and Hires images are to be created using the CMYK Colour Gamut NOT RGB as this will have an adverse effect on accurate colour reproduction, both for proofing and for printing purposes. Make sure that all colours are specified correctly either as spot colours (to be printed using custom inks) or as process separations. When using Spot Colours, make sure that each special colour is defined under just one name. All fonts must be either embedded or converted to paths within the Artwork, or supplied with the file. ARTWORK SPECIFICATION SHEET -CARD LAYOUT The size of the final document supplied must be 86 x 54mm (3mm corner radius) with 1mm of bleed all around. A one-up document at this size is all that is required. If a signature panel is required, the position & size must be indicated using a "spot" colour on the Artwork as shown below. No "live" text to appear within 2mm of the trimmed card size. Ensure all text is clear of the Magnetic Tape (If required). The Tape is 12.5mm deep & positioned 4mm from the top of the card as shown below (when required).
If for any reason the Artwork Specification shown in this document is not adhered to, extra costs may be incurred onto the customer as a result of Studio charges for any time taken to amend incorrect Artwork. |
